Drew is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)
I am a dedicated therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, couples counselling women's issues, children's play therapy teens/adolescents and perinatal mental health.
I am passionate about working alongside people to help them see their inner strength and resilience. I believe that no matter how hopeless you may feel, you can make changes to live a fulfilled and meaningful life.
As your therapist, my approach is warm, empathetic and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust and collaboration, where you feel heard, understood and valued. Together, we will explore your unique journey, uncover the root causes of your challenges, and develop practical strategies to help you overcome them.
I draw from a variety of counselling modalities and tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. I use attachment-based, emotionally-focused approaches, as well as cognitive behavioural and dialectical behavioural therapy. I have additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I have my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Capilano University and my Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have previous work experiences as an early childhood educator, supported child development consultant and infant development consultant. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
As a South Delta resident, I love spending time in the community with family and friends!
