What it's like to work with Rosey
With nearly 20 years of experience in counselling, I bring a deep commitment to supporting children, youth, adults, and families through meaningful and compassionate therapeutic work. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and have been a certified member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) since 2008.
My clinical experience includes long-standing work as a Child and Family Therapist, as well more recently as a School Counsellor. I am deeply committed to culturally inclusive counselling and strive to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel seen and understood and valued.
I work collaboratively alongside clients on their journey to heal, grow, and deepen their understanding of themselves and their world. This may include supporting women navigating life transitions, parents seeking connection through an attachment-informed lens, individuals struggling with mood disorders, experiencing grief and the experience of how trauma can show up across the lifespan. Whether clients are seeking support during a challenging season or wishing to build resilience and self-awareness, therapy is tailored to meet their unique needs and goals.
My work integrates both evidence-based strategies and a holistic perspective—balancing “heart and head”—to support emotional insight with practical skills, and overall well-being. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect, with the belief that meaningful change happens through connection
