What it's like to work with Jenny
I believe that many of the hardest moments in life come when we feel disconnected, from ourselves, our bodies, or the direction we’re heading. My work is rooted in the idea that change doesn’t come from being “fixed,” but from slowing down, getting curious, and reconnecting with what feels true for you.
My approach to counselling is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I work from an existential and trauma-informed lens, which means I’m interested not only in what you’re going through, but also how you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you. I’m drawn to conversations about meaning, choice, and how we move through uncertainty, especially during times of transition or overwhelm.
I also pay close attention to the wisdom of the body and how stress, emotion, and resilience show up physically. I often invite a gentler, more grounded way of tuning in.
I understand that starting counselling can feel vulnerable or uncertain. I aim to offer a space that feels steady, thoughtful, and human, where you don’t have to have the right words, just a willingness to show up as you are.
I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, self-worth concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and begin to understand yourself in a more grounded and compassionate way.
