What it's like to work with Jenna

I know that reaching out for therapy isn't always easy. Whether you're feeling stuck in your relationships, overwhelmed by work, carrying the impact of past experiences, or simply trying to make sense of where you are in life, therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and figure out what you need.

I work with adults navigating a wide range of concerns, including relationship and friendship challenges, social anxiety, workplace stress, substance use, and the everyday difficulties that come with being human. Many of the people I see are sensitive to rejection or find social situations draining or anxiety-provoking, and want to better understand themselves and feel more confident in their relationships.

I also have experience supporting survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and childhood abuse. I recognize that healing looks different for everyone, and I aim to create a space where you can move at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure or judgment.

My approach is collaborative and flexible. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), adapting these approaches to fit your goals, strengths, and experiences. I value curiosity, honesty, and humour when it's helpful, and I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself.

I'm committed to continuing my professional development and will be EMDR certified in Fall 2026 to further support clients seeking trauma-focused care.

My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you don't have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. We can make sense of things together.
